The Farmhouse
The Villa Dauphiné Farmhouse is located in the green hills of Bagno a Ripoli, Florence, and overlooks the valley of Chianti. A recent renovation of a sixteenth century farmhouse, Villa Dauphiné is located beside the manor house with a private chapel. While preserving its original architecture, it is equipped with every modern comfort. Very close to Florence’s historic centre, it offers 4 cozy rooms, newly renovated with period furnishings and treated with particular careto create a homely atmosphere.
Outside you can relax on outdoor seating and sun loungers, or go for a walk on the farm — from the fields, about 500 metres away, you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of Florence.

Observe the beauty of the Tuscan landscape or experience it by playing sports in the open air. Villa Dauphiné’s surroundings offer numerous activities from which to choose: Nature, Art and Culture, Shopping.
Our guests can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding Tuscan countryside, as well as visit places rich in Tuscan tradition and history. Thanks to our proximity to Florence, you’ll have lots of opportunity to visit Tuscany’s art heritage cities. Siena, Arezzo, Pisa and Lucca are ideal destinations for guests and all have good motorway and railway links.
Our kitchen
Staying at our guesthouse you can also enjoy dining at the family-run restaurant, offering wholesome and tasty dishes made with the Villa Dauphiné farm’s very own produce.
From our large and traditional country kitchen with an antique fireplace, we can prepare traditional Tuscan dishes, at guests’ request. We use our own ingredients from the farm or otherwise they are locally obtained. Do not miss the homemade ancient-grain bread and organic homegrown vegetables.
In summer, breakfast and meals may be served on the veranda or various other outdoor spaces.
